Importance of Sleep

Something that coincides with my goal to stop being late to everything is that I should be getting enough sleep every night. I assume the average amount is seven to eight hours every night, and I think with the way my work schedule works, I should be able to do it as long as I don’t fuck around before bed, extending the time I have to wait because I shower before bed and the idea of sleeping with your hair wet is something my mother always hammered into my head not to do because it will cause you to get sick easier. I don’t know if that’s true or not but I do remember an experience where cold air blowing on wet hair just gave me the worst fucking headache imaginable. Anyway, with enough sleep means I can function, and it helps my body repair itself so I won’t look like shit and at least am presentable wherever I go. Also, sleeping just feels nice when you get enough — especially in the winter season.
