For those who aren’t aware, in FF14 there are multiple ways to obtain gear for the kinds of classes you play. Specifically for gathering and crafting classes, you have what is known as the relic, which is something you have to grind for across an overarching storyline or just a multi part quest. I don’t really vibe with that kind of progression so thankfully they do offer an option — just straight up crafting the entire set yourself. That’s what I’ll be doing and while it is annoying, the only thin you need is time, which is something I have plenty of since I have to figure out how to budget my time better. I’m just glad that there are different avenues in how you approach to do something, and I can see why people enjoy doing one thing while people like me enjoy doing the other. Hell, I could just buy it all myself but that’s no fucking fun.
