I tried grilling some salted mackerel that was inside of my freezer and I like to think I did a decent job but I just genuinely do not like the fish. I ended up hooking it up with some lime juice and pepper but it tasted pretty off to me not to mention it smells like absolute fucking ass. Someone told me it’s a very gamey fish and I can attest to that, the taste was just not there after being told by the internet that it’s a mild kind of taste. Maybe next time I should do the vinegar trick or put some sort of sauce because I think the cook was fine enough. Also there were bones left on it and that shit pisses me off so that probably contributed to me not liking the thing at this very moment.
