Fuck yeah, America. I think that’s how that song went, but regardless, I always thought this holiday was cool because you have fireworks, grilling, barbecues, and also several establishments often give people the day off. Even better if it were to fall on a Thursday like right now and some places going “okay fuck it four day weekend for you guys.” That shit’s so cool, but there is also the caveat of the fireworks bringing out a bunch of people unable to sleep, or making their pets spaz the fuck out. I don’t think I’ve witnessed any bullshit yet regarding the dangers of the fireworks, but I will say it’s funny being able to see a bunch of smoke indicating that people were having fun earlier. Or maybe a grill exploded or someone burned the living shit out of their food. It could be any of these factors really, but fuck yeah I guess that’s America then?
