Great day all things considered, even if I did spend most of it sleeping. I was greeted with a bunch of people wishing me happy birthday, and I think the sentiment is something that keeps its meaning no matter how often you hear it or how long you keep hearing it. It just makes me happy knowing that there are people out there who care for me and it makes me want to care for them back so it’s time to get moving in doing so — Christmas that is. Christmas in July! As far as other things go, I went and played, cooked, cleaned a bit, and was able to do several things I planned on doing. All in all a very uneventful, if not a bit lonely birthday, but that’s okay! There’s reason for people to have birthday parties take place in days that aren’t necessarily their own birthday day, and I’m all for it because schedules tend to change as people grow older, and just being able to coordinate something to begin with makes things feel great for me.
