This is the kind of shit that hits me hard because it’s true what you see whenever you do go to game stores, and they’re all like this now. I try not to be the person who dunks on other peoples’ interests, but sorry, Funkos are just fucking soulless to me and I hate everything that they stand for. It’s like an invasive species slowly destroying the thing that you were once fond of. Of course again, it’s the changing landscape and it’s what the fucking people want, but you know what, fuck those people. Also another thing that probably contributed to it was the fact that not many games are coming out anymore, and the fact that many people play digitally now probably is part of why game turnover rates are low for these stores. So now they just have to appeal to general nerd culture instead of just video games. You see this shit happen all the time with conventions and even shit on television. Fuck everything. I accept the change, but I don’t fucking like it.
