Got around to playing this game mode again and to be frank, I think I enjoy it a lot more than I do the actual PvP aspect of the game. It’s wild to think that this game went through all of the things it did and I remember being hyped when this mode first released, albeit in a fucked up buggy state. With that said, it’s always nice to get back into because I enjoy the aspect of cooperation this game offers compared to say Left 4 Dead 2, which is a game I have a love hate relationship with, but I would rather play Team Fortress 2 just for its cast of characters and the fact that the game still remains free to this day. It’s all in all a very fun game in many respects, and MvM in particular lends to playstyles that are way different from the regular game. I know someone who doesn’t like playing Heavy normally, but will jump to play him in MvM because being a tank is way more valuable in a situation like that.
