The answer to all of my sleep problems right here. Here in Florida the humidity is the absolute worst fucking thing ever especially during the Summer, which is hurricane season. Supposedly the inside of your space should be around 30-60% humidity, and I was reaching close to 80% on the regular, and I would fucking wake up on the verge of sweating a pool on my bed, and I would absolutely not want to have that happen. So I decided to get one of these babies from Best Buy and it’s been awesome with how well it does what it’s told to do. It basically sucks in the ambient air and cools it until it becomes a liquid. Think of an air conditioner but in reverse, but not really. Either way there’s a shitload of liquid that collects in the thing and I have to dump it out, but I have seen a massive increase in the quality of restful sleep I have been enjoying lately, so I’m glad this purchase worked out well. It’s also relatively easy to move around so maybe if someone I know has humidity problems I can give them a hand.
