Maybe it’s just because it’s cold outside, but I find it more relaxing than ever to go and get gas, and I assume the price of it stabilizing just a tiny bit is contributing to it. There’s just something about just standing out in the cold surrounded by all the crap around you that lets you take it all in and appreciate the scenery. Okay, that’s all a bunch of bullshit, but either way, it’s nice to be able to get gas comfortably. I suppose it’s how that one Smash Mouth song was, where I could use a little fuel myself and get away from places. Driving in general has just become more fun for me and it’s nice to be able to control your own temperature when you’re in your own car (hopefully.) Driving during the winter seems fine enough in my area because at least we don’t have snow and won’t have to worry about shit like the road being iced up or snowy.
