I’m enjoying my time with this game, and I think a good contributor to it is the fact that this is the first game I actually sunk some money into, because I’ve gone through playing Princess Connect, the two Love Live games (I missed the train on the one that only was active for like 3 months,) and Blue Archive without dropping anything on those games. It’s just an interesting perspective shift since I don’t really find myself buying games nowadays, as in there’s not much that interests me since I think Nintendo is holding out for their next console. Either way, just feeling like you have the power to do things is exhilarating in of itself, and I can definitely see where it becomes a hazardous slippery slope with regards to people who whale and drop so much fucking money that it’s unreal. Good thing I’m keeping track of my finances so that shit won’t happen to me (I hope.)
