Girls Frontline 2

Got around to actually playing a new game on release, so this is a treat since the gameplay seems to be a bit different from what I’m used to. It reminds me a bit of Fire Emblem or rather Mario Rabbids due to how the grid setup and camera angles are presented to you. The characters are cute, Groza seems to be the early pick for me. I will say, the gacha system taking a lot of inspiration from the Hoyo games is a bit concerning, because I don’t really have too much experience with that system, and in a … Continue reading Girls Frontline 2

Getting More Gas

Maybe it’s just because it’s cold outside, but I find it more relaxing than ever to go and get gas, and I assume the price of it stabilizing just a tiny bit is contributing to it. There’s just something about just standing out in the cold surrounded by all the crap around you that lets you take it all in and appreciate the scenery. Okay, that’s all a bunch of bullshit, but either way, it’s nice to be able to get gas comfortably. I suppose it’s how that one Smash Mouth song was, where I could use a little fuel … Continue reading Getting More Gas

LTTP Beaten

I remember first playing this game when the GBA port was released, and it’s neat to see how the differences from the UI and to the feel of the game are when going to play the SNES version. Granted, this version of the game straight up had a save file already at the start of the Dark World, so that makes things a lot easier for me, because I really feel like the game actually starts when that happens. What gets me though as an aside, is that whenever there are these kinds of setups, there are always those fuckers … Continue reading LTTP Beaten

Market Day 1

I had a fun time today. I went with a few friends and I saw a lot of people I recognized and it was just all in all a very enjoyable time so I’m super excited to see what would be like the next day. As far as things that I bought, I bought a mug a keychain and some mystery box soap inspired by dungeon & dragons for one of my friends whose birthday so happens to be tomorrow. It just felt nice to be able to go out and do something different for a change and it definitely … Continue reading Market Day 1

Holiday Nerd Market

Helped bring some machines to the nerd market that’s happening this weekend at the Aloft in Jacksonville. It was an interesting choice of games to bring over, and it’s moreso interesting being able to bring things through the truck. Okay, I wasn’t the one who drove the truck with the games, but it’s educational actually getting some hands on experience with setting things up. It’s pretty much like bringing your own console to someone else’s place and setting it up, but at a much bigger scale. You also have to make sure the volume isn’t loud as fuck because I … Continue reading Holiday Nerd Market

Fighting For Something

Recently I’ve been feeling a bit down mostly because it appears that there’s been an imaginary rift between me and another person I know, but it’s not because of anything negative — it’s more because I operate in this aspect of meters, where attention and closeness are attributed to how full a meter is, and over time, it naturally empties out. I feel like a person I’ve been friends with has had the meter go down slowly, but it has started to go down past the point where I start to brood over it. Normally I would just wallow in … Continue reading Fighting For Something
