Candy Cigs

I am a fan of the aesthetic where you have someone with a cigarette squatting and just chilling. It gives off the vibe of delinquent but I think over the years it stopped having that connotation because sitting the way they do is fucking painful given enough time. As for the cigarettes, I don’t smoke so I have to settle for these. I tried getting some generic kinds from a gas station but the shape is fucked up and it looks nothing like an actual cigarette. For taste, it’s just sugar, so there’s really not much to expect, but it … Continue reading Candy Cigs

Peace Tea Fountain

I have some really good memories consuming Peace Tea when I was younger. I think it was meant to be a competitor to Arizona in those tall cans and it was also packaged in a similarly sized can for the same price of $0.99. What I liked about it was that it had a good variety of flavors, and they were all tasty in their own respective ways. Granted, this was way back before I decided to cut down on sugar, so seeing this in a Coke Freestyle was a surprise. I did know that Peace Tea was bought out … Continue reading Peace Tea Fountain

Pot Roast

Tasty. Made with Instant Pot. First time as well, and I would say I would cook it for just a little bit more so it can shred like pulled meat. I probably shouldn’t have used as much beef stock there was quite a bit of extra liquid and it was very runny and not gravy consistency. Maybe I should use red wine instead of beef stock to deglaze the initial sear. Also putting more meat sounds like the way to go. All in all, I’m satisfied with what I did and I’m liking this Instant Pot more and more that … Continue reading Pot Roast

Traveler’s Ale G-Fuel

Here we have some more G-Fuel reviews from yours truly. today we have the Traveler’s Ale inspired by Genshin Impact. It is a cactus lime flavor and I have had the privilege of purchasing a collector’s box. The collector’s box came with a tub of the cactus lime flavor and a nice looking stainless steel shaker with Paimon decorating it. Initially I was wary about tasting it because I don’t know what cactus tastes like, but a friend of mine gave me a bit of perspective by relating it to aloe vera. With that mindset I was all aboard giving … Continue reading Traveler’s Ale G-Fuel

Oh Right, I Actually Cooked Something

I’ve been so lazy the past few months and I can feel it in more ways than one. Starting now I’m going back on that cooking thing so I can have control what I’m doing and also save up some money for something special. With that out of the way, I went back and did that mushroom soup thing I talked about during the beginning of the year, then did a cast iron ribeye. It’s alright and does what it has to do. Food good, yes, practice and whatnot. Going through the motions is getting easier with each subsequent attempt, … Continue reading Oh Right, I Actually Cooked Something

Burg & Saus

Getting back in the groove of using the grill. Probably not the best time to get back into it since it’s Summer and all the randoms are gonna start using it. It’s not that they’re using it, it’s more that THEY DON’T FUCKING CLEAN IT UP. Sure, you can clean it easily yourself but it’s more the courtesy of it. Fuck people. Anyway, burgers and sausages. I’ve always grilled (propane) by putting the heat on high and closing the lid. I found out that is a disastrous idea because I can’t see what’s going on, and the high heat means … Continue reading Burg & Saus

Chicken Dish

I’ve eaten like absolute SHIT the past few days and now I’m back to fixing my diet. No more buying stuff that’s ready to eat. Time to cook and save some dosh while doing so. Chicken wings, drumsticks, and thigh on a pan just to get it going for a bit, then put the pan in the oven at 450F for about 20 minutes. Shit’s good and thankfully there’s no FUCKING SHATTERED BONES. I hate that crap so much and it ruins my appetite just biting into a bone shard. Continue reading Chicken Dish

Random Meat & Cheese Sandwich

Remember those breadsticks I made a while back? Cut them up into kinda sorta bread slices then slapped some swiss cheese, pepperoni, and peppered chicken breast on it. Whenever I get stuff like this (the meat and cheese,) it’s usually from a deli and for some reason I only ever eat them cold. I think that contributes to why I rarely eat them because I prefer hot foods most of the time outside of desserts. It was alright, and it helps on the wallet I suppose.
