Grand Assault Gold

This was certainly a surprise because I’ve never really been one to take this game super duper seriously but I guess over time I’ve started to build up my characters to be strong enough to reach the threshold to hit this rank. The cutoff is at 25,000, so I think I did good just barely scraping by so that means all I can do is just hope that I’m going to be doing a lot better next time this event happens since it’s sort of sparked a bit of interest back into this even though I really am more preoccupied … Continue reading Grand Assault Gold

Girls’ Frontline 2 So Far

I’m enjoying my time with this game, and I think a good contributor to it is the fact that this is the first game I actually sunk some money into, because I’ve gone through playing Princess Connect, the two Love Live games (I missed the train on the one that only was active for like 3 months,) and Blue Archive without dropping anything on those games. It’s just an interesting perspective shift since I don’t really find myself buying games nowadays, as in there’s not much that interests me since I think Nintendo is holding out for their next console. … Continue reading Girls’ Frontline 2 So Far

Girls Frontline 2

Got around to actually playing a new game on release, so this is a treat since the gameplay seems to be a bit different from what I’m used to. It reminds me a bit of Fire Emblem or rather Mario Rabbids due to how the grid setup and camera angles are presented to you. The characters are cute, Groza seems to be the early pick for me. I will say, the gacha system taking a lot of inspiration from the Hoyo games is a bit concerning, because I don’t really have too much experience with that system, and in a … Continue reading Girls Frontline 2

LTTP Beaten

I remember first playing this game when the GBA port was released, and it’s neat to see how the differences from the UI and to the feel of the game are when going to play the SNES version. Granted, this version of the game straight up had a save file already at the start of the Dark World, so that makes things a lot easier for me, because I really feel like the game actually starts when that happens. What gets me though as an aside, is that whenever there are these kinds of setups, there are always those fuckers … Continue reading LTTP Beaten

Damage Scout Is Fun In MvM

I’m someone who always thought of the Scout in this game mode to be the money collector. Pretty much a meta follower as you will, where you put all your crap into assisting with the milk and mini crits while you pump yourself full of resistances so you can just live forever. However, that ends up being a bit boring and the thrill of being able to kill shit while moving fast is awesome as a Scout, and I love doing it. With all of that said, it definitely is a hill to climb to get to the point where … Continue reading Damage Scout Is Fun In MvM

Modern Games

As you all know, I do not really play many modern games that aren’t Nintendo games so this is a huge whiplash for me because I have never seen a loading screen before the actual game, but I suppose it helps streamline the game when you’re actually playing it. Perhaps it’s similar to how the Grand Theft Auto games would have that long ass loading screen as soon as you press start and this gets rid of the periodical loading that will happen while you’re are playing — or at least minimize them. It reminds me of how you would … Continue reading Modern Games
