Price of Video Games

I went to preorder Fire Emblem Engage from GameStop and I noticed that I paid $70 for it. Well more like higher 60s but either way, I got the protection plan because why not. I’m one of those Pro members who gets a $5 coupon monthly, and I decided to use it on the protection plan itself. I saved $1, so that would mean that the game itself is selling for $70 and that makes no sense to me. Summer of 2021 was when the arcade near me obtained a stand up version of Crazy Taxi, and it was one of the games where I thought it would be fun to get good at.
