Mudfish

So the lag in FF14 has started to become very irritating since I think it has to do with something about the nodes that travel from where I live to California, and for whatever reason they seem to drop the ball with the connections there. With that said, I’ve decided to give Mudfish a try, which lets you reroute where the connection goes, essentially taking a less traffic filled road, and so far it has been super helpful and the lag has been reduced by about 90%. I’ve been experiencing less lag, but still occasional stutters, but I’ll take what … Continue reading Mudfish

FF14 Relic

I remember when I first played this game that I did the relic for the base game, and I remember it being very convoluted because I believe at the time they were figuring out how to set it up so there were multiple steps that ranged from many facets of the game. It was interesting, but a huge pain in the ass. I never really bothered with the relics in the future expansions but I decided to give the most recent one to try because it’s a lot easier to do than the others. So far to say, this format … Continue reading FF14 Relic

FF14 House

I wasn’t expecting to win the lottery for the house but by god I did somehow, and I am extremely excited to renovate the estate. What makes this specific plot special to me is that it was the location of my previous house before it went boom. I kinda lost interest in playing FF14 for a while and there’s a timer where if you don’t visit your house, it goes boom. Talk about making sure you subscribe to the game every month. Anyway, something I loved doing was putting a little treehouse outside and putting it in such a position … Continue reading FF14 House

Mario Day

Oh yeah March 10, Mario day. Get it? Mar as in March, then 10, the 1 in the 10 being like the letter i, put it together and you get mario? Mar10, hahahahaa. Anyway, I like the Mario series if you haven’t already figured out, and I figured I would do a bitch about something in a lighthearted way. As shown in the picture above, I always love it whenever there’s a headline or some clickbait shit with regards to Nintendo, they always use these sad Mario pictures and it’s so fucking commonplace it unironically became ironically funny to me. … Continue reading Mario Day

New Controller

I decided to bite the bullet and get a new controller because I ended up retiring the old one. I can still use the old one in some capacity, but it’s not gonna be good to use when I play FF14. With that said, I opted for the pink because it’s different from the regular black or white theme people like to use for all their crap nowadays. What happened to the obnoxious colors during the 90s and 2000s when it came to game consoles? Not just consoles, but also the controllers too. The N64 having the see through plasma … Continue reading New Controller

Kamidori

What a blast from the past this game was because I was suddenly reminded of it after almost more than ten years of having played it back in the day. Something about this game really spoke to me because it was a Visual Novel and Strategy RPG hybrid so it was pretty much waifu Fire Emblem, and you know how much I love that series. Also the fact that it had lewd was more than enough for me to give it a go, and I was surprised at how much content this game had. This game came out in 2011 … Continue reading Kamidori

FF14 Gear Grind

For those who aren’t aware, in FF14 there are multiple ways to obtain gear for the kinds of classes you play. Specifically for gathering and crafting classes, you have what is known as the relic, which is something you have to grind for across an overarching storyline or just a multi part quest. I don’t really vibe with that kind of progression so thankfully they do offer an option — just straight up crafting the entire set yourself. That’s what I’ll be doing and while it is annoying, the only thin you need is time, which is something I have … Continue reading FF14 Gear Grind

Blue Archive

Giving this game a try to fill in the Princess Connect void. From what I gather, this game focuses way more on gunplay and appears to be more modern. I haven’t really played many gacha games besides Princess Connect, so I think it will be very interesting to see what it is like to play other games with a similar gameplay loop. With that said, I will definitely try making some comparisons to the game I did play even though I don’t think that is something I should be doing. Who knows, maybe it will be able to fill the … Continue reading Blue Archive

Luke Figure

When I was younger I played a lot of Tales of the Abyss back on my PS2. You could say it’s a game that I burnt out on before even knowing what burning out even was at the time. That’s not to say that I didn’t enjoy the time I had with the game but it’s been so long ago that I honestly have forgotten most of what I have played with that game so I think it’s a good time for a replay especially since I got this to remind me how much I really did like the game … Continue reading Luke Figure

Jaws Pinball

I recently got a chance to play some pinball and I was surprised at how it felt to play. If you aren’t that season at pinball or don’t like to keep trying over and over, I would advise against playing this one. It is very easy to have the ball just shoot straight down the middle and lose yourself a ball, very reminiscent of the Mario pinball game. Having a moving drop target sounds interesting at first too but it creates problems because now you have to consider when it’s right to hit it because if you hit it wrong … Continue reading Jaws Pinball
