Signs I Don’t See Often Nowadays

I used to live in New York and traffic there was awful. Double parking, people honking all the time, all that jazz. When I moved to Florida it was interesting that right turns were considered the norm as long as you stopped before hand. It was the other way around in New York, where right turns WEREN’T permitted by default. But there’s nothing like the sense of pressure of not wanting to right turn immediately because you can’t see shit coming because someone is so close to the line that you can’t see past their car. Added on top of … Continue reading Signs I Don’t See Often Nowadays

The Year Long Story Project

Art by https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/69588208 I may or may not have mentioned this previously, but in July of 2022 I went to therapy from the suggestion of a good friend. Long story short, it has been a huge turn around for me in general, and one of the activities I was given was to write a short story where I try to link my own personal issues to an ongoing narrative. I went with making a fantasy story with characters inspired by multiple people in my life, and it was great having a deadline for it. I was required to set a … Continue reading The Year Long Story Project

New York Visit – Part 1

Always glad to see some snow, being from Florida and all. I’ve decided to split the recollection of this visit into different categories. I’ll be saving the good shit (Kotobukiya and Nintendo World) for their own separate respective posts. For now, it’ll just be things I did besides play Fire Emblem Engage all day. If you couldn’t tell from the presence of snow, IT’S COLD. I’m glad I got some new vest jackets to wear since I’ve always been fond of them. It just sort of happened and it’s now part of my style. I think this was taken while … Continue reading New York Visit – Part 1

Car Troubles

I don’t know jack about cars. If it drives and brings me places, it’s good enough. Maybe it’s time I changed that mindset because I’ve had my car break down on me — or rather, just the battery. I noticed a few days ago that the light came on for the battery, so I decided to bring it to a shop and got the battery changed. Things seemed fine until I also went to get some gas and fill my tires with air, and then my car just stopped responding. There were so many new things I learned that day, … Continue reading Car Troubles

The Return

Oh man, a week and a half without any posts? Guess I lost track of time. I’ll be splitting up my recollection of my week in New York because aside from eating like shit (breaking my diet,) I spent almost all of it going through Fire Emblem Engage. I think that break was just what I needed, and it allowed me to destress quite a bit. I’m in the process up uploading my trip to Nintendo World, and I have a lot to talk about another certain store I visited while in Manhattan. Everything feels like nothing has changed though, … Continue reading The Return

The Future of Entries

When I first started this blog, I wanted to have an entry every day — a daily ramble if you will. Turns out that my time management to this day still is horrible, and it’s been somewhat stressing me out to get things up before the clock hits midnight. Playing Fire Emblem Engage makes the time fly by and before I know it, I missed the deadline for my daily blabber. It’s been affecting my daily gacha progress too for Princess Connect, but then the big question comes up. Why do I need to have an entry every day? It’s … Continue reading The Future of Entries
