Decided to do some adult things and a majority of the places I required to venture to were all closed, because they were celebrating New Year’s Day (Observed.) I don’t think it’s strange that this is a thing, since I suppose Sundays are the holy day and breaking that for any reason is sacrilege. Maybe I can apply this to my own life by going “Aaron’s Birthday (Observed.)” No wait, people already do that by having their parties a few days before or after their actual birthday.
