Engage Struggle Part 2

I’ve been chipping away at this for a while now and I want to say I’ve made some very good progress. It’s tough but satisfying being able to overcome so much bullshit that you start to appreciate something you thought was awful at the start. Just having to make due with what you have and figuring out if you want to make something better through alternate means versus making something good in one aspect even better is something I always leaned towards to, especially the latter. I’m gonna be busy the next two days so I’ll have to put this … Continue reading Engage Struggle Part 2

Engage Struggle

I’m still not done with the Engage DLC even though it’s been almost a year since the base game released. It’s tough trying to figure out how to proceed in this final chapter because the tools you are given are a bit limited, and the forced tools you have are also just pretty awful to play around with, so I’m going around figuring out what to do while always getting around 10-12 turns in before I decide to go fuck it and retry the entire thing. I can at least feel like I’m a bit consistent with how I’m proceeding, … Continue reading Engage Struggle

People Who Don’t Know What They’re Talking About

I really love (read: actually fucking hate) when I have a discussion about a certain subject and someone who thinks they can get by with bravado and charisma think they can outtalk someone who knows what they are talking about. I’ve had this happen with a game series that has been going on for many years and this person will go “what happened to this series,” while outing themselves as fucking nobodies who played the game more than a decade ago and hasn’t kept up with the times. I get that it’s fine to prefer the older games (which is … Continue reading People Who Don’t Know What They’re Talking About

Parking Sharks

When I was going to school parking was always a fucking nightmare because of all the people moving around like sharks or vultures looking for their meal. They would just circle all the good spots close to the bus or to the building and just constantly fucking circle back and forth forever because they think somebody is going to leave and they can take their spot. I fucking hate those opportunistic kinds of assholes and it even persists to this day whenever I’m working at pizza factory. Like whoop de fucking do you got lucky and found somebody leaving a … Continue reading Parking Sharks

Weather Scare

I had just experienced a so called weather scare and it was an event alright. I was just minding my own business and then bam super cold weather coming through along with stuff like a tornado warning. It appeared to hit the hardest in my own area and as soon as I stepped outside I was drenched because of course due to how the rain in Florida just loves to drop immediately and in a concentrated way. My jacket remained soaked for the duration of the night and I think that kept me cold. After the fact, it didn’t really … Continue reading Weather Scare

Dumbass Guy

So I’m enjoying myself in a public place and I decide to go to the bathroom. Inside the bathroom there is a dude literally rolling up a blunt or a cigarette or whatever the fuck they call that shit nowadays because I don’t smoke and I don’t plan on doing so anytime soon. It just really gets me and burns my shit that people have the gall to do this kind of shit in a public place especially in the bathroom of all things. I don’t want to smell people’s shit and smoke when I’m in a bathroom so what … Continue reading Dumbass Guy

Appeal of Guest Artists

Konosuba has been around for a good amount of time now, and something I always heard a few people say was that the art style (of the show, most likely,) appears to be a bit too clean, for a lack of a better word. It has that sharp, clean style that a lot of people associate with A1, as seen in Sword Art Online, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. It’s a very approachable and attractive style, if not simple. This is where the importance of guest artists come in. Pictured is a Konosuba fanbook and there … Continue reading Appeal of Guest Artists

Vintage Complete Set

Pictured above is the complete “set” of Cardcaptor Sakura. it’s the actual uncut version too, and not that weird dub that was a Saturday morning cartoon. It’s wild to see that this format of DVDs where you had three or four episodes per volume is fully collected and essentially complete to sell. I can imagine a die-hard fan collecting all of these and having to sadly part with them for reasons such as money or just not being a fan anymore. Either way, this makes an excellent way for someone who wants to experience the series because it offers an … Continue reading Vintage Complete Set

Ed, Edd n’ Eddy Anniversary

It’s the 25th anniversary of this show (goddamn time flies) and I just want to say how much this show has influenced me because I remember a lot of its humor carried over to what I do and how I approach things. The slapstick shitposty nature of the show just always gets me along with the wacky ass sound effects the show has. I remember my family thought this show was gonna make me fucking stupid and I think it has, but at the same time I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s just that fucking amusing to watch … Continue reading Ed, Edd n’ Eddy Anniversary
