I’m still not done with the Engage DLC even though it’s been almost a year since the base game released. There was this fighting game I remember playing where if one of the characters died, he would create an explosion and try to take other people with him when he died, only to respawn. It was a lives based fighting game and I always thought having a mechanic like that (not lives, the explosion) was a shitty thing to do. I loved the fuck out of Engage when it came out and I thought I had thoroughly put enough time into it, but when the DLC came out, I left with a bit of a bad taste because of how the Fell Xenologue was handled. In Team Fortress 2 there is this strategy I like to do on 2fort where I go into the side spawn that has the two exit ways. The one that goes to where the snipers hang out, and the one that is a drop-down. As a Demoman, I put a bunch of stickies at the very blind 90° turn and just watch from above the drop-down and when somebody shows up I detonate them.
