Cool Rain Interaction

I was getting out when I saw that the rain was really hard, and I parked relatively far from where I was getting out of so I was at an impasse at what to do — yolo towards my car or just wait it out? Well turns out waiting it out fucking sucks and I wouldn’t want to waste any time, so I asked someone who isn’t leaving any time soon if I could use their umbrella with the stipulation that I return it. I would get to my car, drive back, then return the umbrella. Turns out that it worked out and I’m glad I actually bothered to go and try out asking someone and not waiting out the time. I think it’s a nice gesture and being someone of your own word helps build trust with people you may not see everyday, but will definitely keep each other in mind for any future interactions that may come. The power of asking, so they say, can be great in the right hands.
